Die NS-Verbrechen, die im In- und Ausland (u.a. in Maly Trostinec) begangen worden sind, sind im österreichischen Bewusstsein zu wenig verankert.
In der Überzeugung, den Opfern dieses unmenschlichen Regimes ein ehrendes Andenken zu schulden und dafür Sorge tragen zu müssen, dass dieses ihnen auch von zukünftigen Generationen bewahrt wird, sowie in der Überzeugung, dass das Bewusstmachen und die Aufarbeitung der Vergangenheit Voraussetzung für ein verantwortungsvolles und aktives Gestalten der Gegenwart ist und erst so die Chance für eine positive Zukunft für alle Menschen in Österreich besteht, wurde der Verein IM-MER ERINNERN zum Gedenken an die Opfer des Nationalsozialismus gegründet, um an die von den Nationalsozialisten aus der Gesellschaft Ausgeschlossenen zu erinnern, ihnen ein Gesicht zu geben, sie so dem Vergessen und der Anonymität zu entreißen und um den Ort Maly Trostinec und andere Deportationsziele im kollektiven Gedächtnis Österreichs zu verankern. Der Verein IM-MER ERINNERN will durch Aufklärung und Bildungsarbeit – besonders im Bereich der Menschenrechte und Fragen der Zivilcourage – dazu beizutragen, dass der Ausschluss von tausenden Menschen aus der Gesellschaft NIEMALS WIEDER im Namen eines verbrecherischen Rechts geschieht:

c) Präsentation der Geschehnisse in Maly Trostinec und anderen Orten der Verbrechen des NS-Regimes mit Schwerpunktsetzung auf dem Schicksal der dort ermordeten Österreicher und Österreicherinnen sowie der nach Österreich von den Nationalsozialisten Verschleppten
d) unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der aus der Gesellschaft AUSGESCHLOSSENEN und der Deportationen aus Wien
e) durch Einrichten und Betreiben eines öffentlichen, leicht zugänglichen Raumes an einem zentralen Platz in Wien, aber auch durch
f) Gedenkfahrten u.Ä.
g) Bildungsarbeit: Vorträge, Seminare, Workshops

The Nazi crimes that were committed in Austria and abroad (including in Maly Trostinec) are not sufficiently anchored in the Austrian consciousness.
In the conviction that the victims of this inhumane regime owe an honorable memory and that we must ensure that this is preserved for them by future generations, as well as in the conviction that raising awareness and coming to terms with the past is a prerequisite for shaping the present responsibly and actively, and only then will there be a chance for a positive future for all people in Austria, association IM-MER ERINNERN was founded to commemorate the victims of Nationalsocialism
to remember those excluded from society by the Nationalsocialists, to give them a face, to rescue them from oblivion and anonymity and to anchor Maly Trostinec and other deportation destinations in Austria's collective memory. The IM-MER ERINNERN association wants to help ensure that the exclusion of thousands of people from society will happen NEVER AGAIN in the name of a criminal law, through information and educational work - especially in the area of ??human rights and questions of civil courage:
